I am associate professor of Computer Science at the University Lyon 2 in the ERIC Lab since 2007. My current research focuses on machine learning in the context of KDD (knowledge discovery in databases). I am particularly interested in clustering techniques and in concept/topic extraction from textual datasets. For more details please see my research webpage.

What's new

• The project ImagiWeb has just been accepted by the french national agency for research (ANR). This project is supported by ImagiNove, Cap Digital, and SCS.
• We propose an internship in the ERIC Lab with Sabine Loudcher for studying the evolution of scientific domains.
• I will organize with H. Hacid (Alcatel-Lucent, Bell Labs) and Shengbo Guo (Xerox RC Europe) the Workshop Mining Social Network Dynamics (MSND), co-located with WWW'12.
• I am part of the organization team of the international conferences ALT and DS 2012. They will be conjointly held in Lyon (France), 29-31 October, 2012.
• The paper Analyzing Social Roles using Enriched Social Network on On-Line Sub-Communities, with M. Forestier and D. A. Zighed is accepted at ICDS 2012.
