About WABiD*
This first issue of the WABiD* workshop aims at promoting and sharing research and innovation on Big Data Management, Analytics and Security. The aim of this workshop is to become a regular exchange forum for researchers and practitioners of big data-related applications. The submission of ongoing research, industrial, position, visionary, inter/trans/pluridisciplinary and student papers are encouraged to fuel up the discussion.

Submission instructions
Submissions should present original results and substantial new work not currently under review or published elsewhere. Papers must not exceed 12 pages (including references and possible technical appendices) in the LNCS format. For camera-ready papers, use LaTeX or Word LNCS style. Workshop papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in the Communications in Computer and Information Science series.
Submissions must be uploaded by using the Easychair WABiD* 2018 page.
The authors of the best workshop papers will be invited to prepare extended versions of their papers after the workshop. Following an additional round of reviews, the extended papers will appear in a special issue of an international journal.
